Opening Times for Visitors
The Parish Church of St James' is open at the following times in addition to the regular Sunday and weekday services.
Church open to visitors
The church will be open again for visitors from 5th April. Guides will be there to welcome you and talk about the history of the building and its people throughout the centuries. The gift shop is well stocked with Fairtrade goods and gifts. Buy your Fairtrade tea, coffee, biscuits there as well as gifts, books and cards. Drink Fairtrade tea and coffee from the church café under the tower and enjoy a slice of delicious homemade cake. But it should not be forgotten that St James' Church continues to minister to the spiritual needs of Louth and so St Stephen's Chapel, which now has wheelchair access, is available for those who need some peace and quiet; there are aids to reflection and prayer should they be required.
