Bell Ringers
St James' has a ring of eight bells; the tenor is tuned to the note D and weighs 1,594kg (31cwt 1qr 7lb). The bells are rung for Sunday services, weddings and other important events.
Ringing Times
- Normal Ringing: Sundays, 9:15am to 10:00am
- Practice: Tuesdays, 7:00pm to 9:00pm
- Simulator Practice: Last Friday of each month, 10:30am to 12:00pm
