OBERAMMERGAU 2010
Canon Stephen Holdaway is organising a 10 day holiday in Austria from 26th May to 4th June 2010 ending with 2 nights in Oberammergau to see the Passion Play there.
The party will fly from Manchester and stay in a 4* hotel on the edge of a lake near Salzburg in a village called Fuschl. Accommodation is with half board. During the stay there will be opportunities to tour the area and attend a Mozart concert in Salzburg.
The Passion Play is performed every 10 years and in 2010 will be performed in the afternoon and evening for the first time, giving the possibility for a dramatic backdrop to the crucifixion.
If you would like to join the group from the Louth churches or would like further information, please contact Stephen on 01507 603213 or e mail stephen.holdaway@btinternet.com.
